Naruto to Stream for Free
Viz is finally getting in the game and speeding up its delivery. In January, they are going to start releasing 8 episodes of Shippuden every friday until they have all of the episodes online, but everry Thursday, they will also add a subtitled version of the latest Japanese release only two days after it’s aired in Japan. All of this will be available on Naruto.comViz is also going to speed up its manga delivery such as it did near the last holiday season. They are stopping at 45 this time.

Dir en Grey To Play 22 N. American Cities
To celebrate the release of its latest album, the Japanese metal/visual kei band Dir en grey will once again tour the United States and Canada by playing in 22 cities between November 5 and December 5. The dates and venues for the tour will be:

Full RoboDz Episode Streamed
Through the combined effort of Toei and Disney, and new series has been formed, RoboDz. This episode is fully in Japanese, but seeing as it is most likely intended for younger audiences, it is pretty easy to figure out. Updates on this series as it progresses.
Explosive Minds Behind Death Note Create New Explosive Manga
The creative team of Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata were revealed in the latest issue of JUMP to be making a new manga Bakuman. The only description so far is “explosive.” First chapter launches August 11. Updates soon to come.
FUNimation Gets Baccano!
FUNimation has acquired the license for the series Baccano! based on a series of light novels. The story is about a group of alchemists looking for the elixir of life. It seems interesting, but, to tell the truth, I’ve never seen it. Anime critics and fans alike seem to think well of it though. That’s a good sign. Check it out.
